How to reach Khao Sok Paradise Resort from anywhere in Thailand
Directions
From Phuket
By car
Follow the highway 402 across the Sarasin Bridge to Khok Kloy, after the bridge turn left on the highway 4 to Thai Mueang. Keep on driving straight on highway 4 past Khao Lak and then Takua Pa, after Takua Pa keep on driving straight as highway 4 becomes highway 402 and head towards Surathani , the main entry to the Khao Sok National Park will be on your right hand side at the kilometer 109. The journey by car from Phuket takes about 3h.
By bus
There are buses leaving the Phuket central bus station every hour from 9am to 2pm, however for convenience reasons and due to the lack of comfort and safety onboard we do not recommend this transportation method.
By minivan
From Phuket town: 08h00, 14h00.
From Patong: 07h30, 12h00, 13h00.
From Phuket airport: 09h30, 13h30, 15h30.
Some above timetables will not run during low season.
From Khao Lak
By car
Drive north to Takuapa on Highway 4, for about 40 minutes once arrived in Takuapa keep on driving straight for another 45 minutes towards Suratthani the main entry to the Khao Sok National Park will be on your left hand side at the kilometer 109. The journey from Khao Lak to Khao Sok takes about 1h30.
By bus
There are buses leaving Khao Lak every day for Khao Sok from 9am to 3pm, however for convenience reasons and due to the lack of comfort and safety onboard we do not recommend this transportation method.
By minivan
From Khao Lak: 11h00, 15h00, 17h00.

From Krabi
By car
From Krabi, drive northwest on Thanon Phetkasem, also called Highway 4. Follow signs for Phang-Nga. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will arrive in Ao Luk. Keep driving straight on Highway 4 for about 30 more kilometers until you reach Route 415. Turn right onto this road. At the intersection, you will see a large gas station and a police building on the right. Continue north on Route 415 for approximately 48 kilometers. At the end, you’ll turn left onto Route 401. Continue driving for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the main entrance to the national park. The gate house will be on the right side of the road near kilometer marker 109. The drive from Krabi to Khao Sok takes about 2h30.
By bus
You may also travel to the Khao Sok National Park by bus. First, you’ll need to take the bus from Krabi to Takuapa near Phuket. Then, take the bus from Takuapa to Khao Sok. It’s important to note that the last bus departs Takuapa around 4pm. For safety and convenience, travel by bus is not recommended.
By minivan
If you are traveling alone or with a group, a minivan provides service between Krabi and the national park. The minivan departs from a station outside of Krabi daily at 10am. For convenience, it’s best if you reserve your spot through your hotel.
From Koh Samui / Koh Tao / Koh Phangan
Private transportation
We can organize private transportation for you directly from the Don Sak pier in Suratthani to Khao Sok at the rate of 2900 Baht for a car or 3400 Baht for a minivan. Please kindly note that each ferry company has its own pier, therefore please let us know which ferry company you are traveling with.
From Suratthani
From Suratthani airport by car
When you leave the Suratthani Airport, turn right on the 41 AH2 highway, and drive for 11 km (Direction Khao Sok National Park). Turn right on the 401 highway, and drive straight for about 110 km ,through the town of Baan Takhun and then Phanom until you arrive at the Km 109 (about 45 minutes after Phanom) the Khao Sok main entrance will be on your right hand side. The journey from the Suratthani Airport to Khao Sok takes about 2h.
From Suratthani town by car
Head to Phunpin town until you arrive at the Km 0 on the route. Take the 401 highway direction Phuket and drive straight for about 110 km, through the town of Baan Takhun and then Phanom until you arrive at the Km 109 (about 45 minutes after Phanom), the Khao Sok main entrance will be on your right hand side. The journey from the Suratthani town to Khao Sok takes about 2h15.
By minibus
There are minivans leaving the Suratthani minivan station (Talad Kaset in town) every hour from 9am to 4pm. You also have the possibility to catch a van directly from the Suratthani airport or train station.
By bus
